E-Scooter Range: Summer vs. Winter — Up to 40% Difference
Factory range applies at 20 °C. At 0 °C, you lose 20–25%, and at –10 °C, up to 40%. We explain why and how to mitigate this.

Why Batteries Lose Range in Cold Weather
Li-ion cells have an optimal operating temperature of 15–25 °C. At lower temperatures, chemical processes slow down — the battery delivers less energy and appears empty sooner.
Concrete Figures
AM model: summer 80 km, winter at 0 °C 60–65 km, at –10 °C 50 km. A1 model: summer 90 km, winter 65–75 km. Up to 40% difference in extreme conditions.
How to Mitigate the Loss
Store the battery indoors, charge it at room temperature, wait 10 minutes after charging before riding. Park your scooter in a garage or under a shelter.
Hot Summer
Temperatures above 35 °C also harm the battery. In Murska Sobota, Koper, and Maribor, park your scooter in the shade during summer. Do not leave it in direct sunlight for 6+ hours.
