Real-World E-Scooter Range: How Many Kilometers Can You Cover on a Single Charge?
Factory range of 80 km vs. reality. What affects range: rider weight, speed, inclines, temperature, and riding style.

Factory range data (e.g., 80 km for AM, 90 km for A1) is measured in a laboratory at 20 °C, with a 75 kg rider, constant speed of 25 km/h, and flat terrain. In practice, the range is typically 60–80% of this value.
What Reduces Range
Main factors
Riding at full speed (–25%), rider weight above 90 kg (–10%), frequent accelerations (–15%), inclines (–20% to –40%), cold temperatures below 5 °C (–20% to –40%), and low tire pressure.
Real Numbers from Slovenia
A 75 kg rider in the city (Ljubljana, flat) at 35 km/h achieves 65–75 km on an AM model, 75–85 km on an A1. In hilly terrain (Maribor slopes), realistically 50–60 km.
How to Extend Range
Ride smoothly, avoid sudden accelerations, maintain correct tire pressure (2.2 bar), use ECO mode where available, and pre-warm the battery in winter.
Daily Use
For typical commuting (up to 20 km), the range is more than sufficient — charge every 2–3 days. For longer rides (40+ km), we recommend models with a removable extra battery.
