Helmet and Gear for E-Scooter Riding: What You Need to Have
Mandatory helmet, recommended gloves, jacket with protection, and waterproof pants. We present price ranges and what the law requires in Slovenia.
Helmet (Mandatory)
Legally mandatory for the rider and passenger. We recommend a helmet with ECE 22.06 standard. Price range €50–€250. Modular (flip-up) helmets are more comfortable in the city.
Gloves (Recommended)
Even in summer — they protect your palms in case of a fall and keep you warm during morning rides. Price €25–€80.
Jacket with Protectors
Jacket with elbow and shoulder protectors, waterproof. Price range €80–€250. Ventilated models are available for summer months.
Visibility
A reflective vest is not mandatory for mopeds in Slovenia, but it is strongly recommended for riding in dusk and rain. Price: €10–€25.
Scooter Accessories
D-lock (35–60 €), rain cover (20–40 €), USB phone charger (usually already included in our models).
