Electric Scooter Price 2026: How Much Does an E-Scooter Cost with a Subsidy?

Prices for new electric scooters in Slovenia in 2026 start at €1,490 for entry-level AM models (45 km/h) and go up to €3,290 for more powerful A1 models with speeds up to 85 km/h.

Price with EKO Subsidy

After deducting the non-repayable EKO sklad incentive (€300 for AM, €750 for A1), the final price for an AM model is from €1,190, and for an A1, from €1,940.

What Influences the Price

Key factors are battery capacity (Ah), motor type (hub motor or central motor), equipment (LED lights, alarm, USB, digital display), and the option of a removable battery for home charging.

No Hidden Costs

E-scooters have no CO2 registration, no annual moped tax (AM), electricity consumption per 100 km is less than €0.60. Service is 2–3 times cheaper than for a petrol scooter.

Financing

Installment payments via NLB Buy & Go, leasing, or consumer credit are possible — monthly installments for an A1 model after subsidy start from as little as €45 per month.
